PrimaryResponsibilities
- Reporting tothe Director of Talent and Culture you will be responsible fordetermining the Talent & Culture strategic and programmaticneeds of Fairmont Mumbai and also support effective implementationand evaluation of strategies policies andprocedures.
- Control and monitor theadministration of all Talent & Culture activities andpolicies.
- To plan manage control coordinate andparticipate in personnel activities of all the departments in areasof

- T&CInitiatives
- StatutoryCompliance
- And as well asrecommend implement formulate and execute organizationspolicies procedures rules regulations and programs for all theemployees.
- To ensure effective implementationof all Talent & Culture Systems Policies and Proceduresfollowing local legislation.
- Any matter whichmay effect the interests of Fairmont Mumbai should be brought tothe attention of theManagement.
Talent& CulturePlanning
- Developan annual and longterm Talent & Culture plan thatidentifies the organizations Talent & Culture agenda as acomponent of the organizations overall StrategicPlan.
- Identify Talent & Culturestrategies and program requirements needed to maintain aprogressive work culture in support of effective recruitmentdevelopment and retention of theemployees.
PeopleManagement
- Establishand maintain seamless coordination & cooperation with alldepartments of Fairmont Mumbai to ensure maximum productivitymorale and guest service.
- Develop and maintaineffective relationships with all thedepartments.
- Respond to queries by resolvingissues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ensurethat the team has been trained for all safetyprovisions.
- Ensure that all personnel are keptwell informed of departments objectives andpolicies.
- Motivate and develop team to ensuresmooth functioning of the department and promoteteamwork.
OperationalManagement
- Developand implement effective recruitment and screening system as per theorganizations requirement.
- To ensure the smoothand efficient running of the Talent & Culture Departmentensuring that all the Policies and Procedures outlined in theOperations Manual are strictly adheredto.
- Establish standard policies and proceduresfor all the processes in the Talent & CultureManagement.
- To implement an effective andefficient day to day communication administration and reporting toand between the departments and individuals resulting in a highlymotivated flexible and multi skilledworkforce.
- Investigate and review alldisciplinary actions to ensure the actions are complying with thelabour law & rules and regulations of theorganization.
- Ensure that all theemployees comply with the policies andprocedures.
- Maintain and update employeerecords legal documents policies and procedures and other personnelmatters.
- Prepare and submit periodic personnelreports such as turnover personnel inventories andrecruitment.
- Ensure to perform the variousactivities with regard to the personnel:
- Monitorthe staff performanceappraisal.
- Manpowerplanning.
- Recruitment and selection ofpersonnel & Employmentprocedures.
- Resignation and dismissalprocedures.
- Make manpower and cost budget forTalent & Culture Department.
- Surveyresearch and feedback.
- Make proposal oncompetitive salary policy.
- Develop long termstrategies.
- To review thePolicies periodically and recommend necessary adjustments to theGeneral Manager according to current industrial trends andrequirements of the Labor Department.
- To ensurethat all Job Descriptions Departmental Operations and TrainingManuals are prepared and updatedannually.
- Analyze the manpower requirement andrecommend selection activities to meet therequirement.
- To ensure that all practices arecomplete and abreast with legal practices policies andprocedures.
- Review personnel policiesprocedures and practices. Recommend changes modificationor updated information to the GeneralManager.
- Inspect the staff restaurant lockerrooms and other facilities on a regular basis to ensure that theyare well operated and maintained.
- To implementan effective Manpower Development System which maximizes potentialand satisfies our present and future manpowerneeds.
- To ensure that all externalcommunication in the form of Recruitment Ads External Hotel andTalent & Culture Activities and Internal Communicationsthrough Staff Notice Boards collateral etc portray a professionalimage in line with the organizationsstandards.
Qualifications:
Knowledge andExperience
- MastersDegree in Human Resources Management
- Minimum0910 years of Human Resources Management experience and at least 01or 02 years of experience as Human ResourcesManager
- Excellent reading writing and oralproficiency in English language
- Proficient inMS Excel Word &PowerPoint
