JobSummary:

As a Material HandlingEquipment Operator you are responsible for the efficient and safeoperation maintenance and handling of various material handlingequipment. This includes Lifters Jumbo Trollies Lifts Forklifts TowTrucks Hoists Hand Pallet Trolleys Booking Wagons Cages &Skids Main Entrance Gate Gearboxes and Material Handling Trolleys.Your role is crucial in ensuring smooth logistics operationsminimizing downtime and maintaining safety and compliance inmaterial handling.

KeyResponsibilities:

  1. EquipmentOperation andHandling:

    • Operatea variety of material handling equipment safely and efficientlyfollowing operationalguidelines.
    • Load unload move stackand stage products and materials using the appropriateequipment.
    • Ensure proper handlingand minimal damage to materials and equipment duringoperations.

  2. MaintenanceandInspection:

    • Conductroutine checks and preventive maintenance on material handlingequipment to ensure optimalperformance.
    • Identify and report anymalfunctions damages or wear and tear; perform minor repairs orcoordinate with technicians for majorissues.

  3. SafetyandCompliance:

    • Adhereto safety protocols and operational standards to prevent accidentsand injuries.
    • Ensure compliance withregulatory requirements related to material handling and equipmentoperation.
    • Participate in safetytraining and stay updated with best practices in material handlingand equipmentsafety.

  4. Inventoryand RecordKeeping:

    • Assistin maintaining inventory accuracy through proper handling ofmaterials and usage ofequipment.
    • Maintain accurate recordsof equipment usage maintenance activities and any incidents ordiscrepancies.

  5. CollaborationandCommunication:

    • Collaboratewith the logistics team warehouse staff and other departments toensure seamless material handling and equipmentoperation.
    • Communicate effectivelywith team members management and external parties regardingmaterial handling operations and equipmentstatus.


RequirementsEssentialQualifications:
  • Highschool diploma or equivalent; additional certification in materialhandling or equipment operation ispreferred.
  • Provenexperience in operating a wide range of material handlingequipment.
  • Validcertification to operate forklifts hoists or other materialhandling equipment asrequired.

Essential Qualifications and Skills: High school diploma orequivalent; a bachelor's degree in business or related field is aplus. Proven experience in sales, preferably in the audiovisualequipment industry. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.Proficiency in using billing and inventory management systems.Basic understanding of audiovisual equipment and technology.Detail-oriented with a strong sense of accuracy. Ability to work ina fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Sales-driven with a passion for exceeding targets.
