Job Title: Site In-Charge - Utility & Switch Yard, Machine Maintenance

Job Summary:

As a Site In-Charge in Utility & Switch Yard, Machine Maintenance, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operation of machinery and equipment in the utility and switch yard area. You will ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out efficiently, safely, and in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintenance Oversight:

Supervise and coordinate the daily maintenance activities in the utility and switch yard area.
Ensure timely and effective maintenance and repair of all machinery and equipment to minimize downtime.
Implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to enhance equipment reliability and performance.

Safety and Compliance:

Ensure adherence to safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
Comply with all relevant regulatory and environmental standards about utility operations and machine maintenance.

Team Management:

Lead, train, and mentor maintenance personnel to foster a skilled, motivated, and efficient team.
Schedule shifts and allocate resources to ensure 24/7 operation of the facility.

Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving:

Diagnose complex technical issues and provide effective solutions to ensure continuous operation of machinery.
Coordinate with external vendors and technicians for specialized maintenance or repair work.

Budget and Inventory Management:

Manage maintenance budgets, control costs, and optimize resource utilization.
Oversee the inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, ensuring availability and cost-effectiveness.
