Business Development Associate

- Develop and execute the business development strategy for residential and
commercial rooftop markets.
- Identify and generate leads through market research, partnerships, and networking.
- Drive end-to-end sales processes: site visits, proposals, negotiation, and closing.
- Build and lead a high-performing sales team.
- Manage pipeline and reporting through CRM tools.
- Forge strategic partnerships with RWAs, developers, architects, and consultants.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Track market trends, policy changes, and competitor moves.
- Represent company at industry events and client meetings.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's in Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA preferred
- 6–10 years in solar sales or business development (rooftop/distributed preferred)
- Proven track record of closing 100kW+ rooftop projects
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills
- Strong industry network and channel partner connections
- Familiarity with CRM tools and solar sector regulations
