Position Overview

We are seeking a
senior, strategic, and highly proactive Business Development Head
who can bring strong industry connections, drive conversions, and open new growth pathways for the company.

The ideal candidate is a natural closer, relationship-builder, and opportunity creator.

Key Responsibilities

1. Agency & Brand Network

  • Strong network in advertising, digital, media, and creative agencies.
  • Direct access to brand-side marketing heads, founders, and decision-makers.
  • Must be able to initiate meetings and opportunities within the
    first month
    .

2. Lead Conversion & Deal Closure

  • Proven ability to convert leads into actual business.
  • Skilled in turning cold outreach into warm conversations.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.

3. Understanding of India's Startup Ecosystem

  • Knows startup behaviour, marketing challenges, and budget limitations.
  • Ability to position Filmy Fiction as a high-quality, budget-friendly production partner.

4. Entrepreneurial & Ownership-Driven

  • Operates like a business unit head—strategic, independent, and proactive.
  • Brings new ideas, opportunities, and growth plans.

5. Pipeline Building & Revenue Growth

  • Creates and manages lead funnels, outreach calendars, and industry trackers.
  • Converts one-time clients into repeat business.
  • Understands retainer-based and long-term content models.

6. Communication & Pitching Excellence

  • Strong in presenting, emailing, pitching, and storytelling.
  • Able to communicate Filmy Fiction's value in a compelling way.

7. Client Psychology & Emotional Intelligence

  • Quickly builds trust with clients.
  • Handles founders, budget-sensitive brands, and hesitant stakeholders with finesse.

8. Industry Trend Awareness

  • Tracks opportunities across FMCG, D2C, Fintech, Fashion, Healthcare, Creator Economy, and more.
  • Identifies and targets high-potential sectors.

9. Results & Accountability

  • Comfortable meeting KPIs, sales targets, and revenue goals.
  • Strong ownership, reporting, and follow-through.

10. Leadership & Collaboration

  • Represents Filmy Fiction with confidence and professionalism.
  • Works directly with the Founder on strategy and growth.
  • Handles pressure and fast-paced production timelines.
