Role Overview

As an
Executive – Business Development
, you will lead front-end sales, customer engagement, and strategic market development. You'll be a key player in mapping customer needs to technical solutions, driving order bookings, and growing our brand presence in the Defence and Aerospace ecosystem.


Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Generation

  • Present our product portfolio and custom H/W & S/W solutions effectively.
  • Translate customer needs into actionable proposals.
  • Achieve order booking and sales targets.
  • Identify new opportunities aligned with industry trends and technologies.


Customer Engagement & Market Development

  • Build strong relationships with Defence and Aerospace clients.
  • Deliver compelling technical presentations and pitches.
  • Identify new application areas and market segments.
  • Collect and analyze customer feedback for continuous improvement.


Strategy & Brand Development

  • Support strategic planning for market and customer expansion.
  • Represent the company at defence/aero exhibitions and seminars.
  • Enhance customer satisfaction and implement retention programs.
  • Contribute to team planning and resource alignment with business goals.


Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong grasp of
    Electronics, Embedded Systems
    , and
    Instrumentation
    .
  • Solution-based sales mindset with a strategic approach.
  • Existing network in the
    Defence, Aerospace, or Satellite
    industry is a plus.
  • Fluent in
    English and Kannada
    (Hindi is a bonus).
  • Confident presenter, skilled negotiator, and relationship builder.
  • Highly driven, energetic, and open to frequent travel.


Qualifications

  • B.E. in EEE, ECE, or ECS
    ; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum
    3 years of experience
    in business development (preferably in Defence & Aerospace).
  • Preferred certifications:
    Sales Strategy, Govt. Business Development, Product Management
    .
