Role & responsibilities

Regional Sales Planning.

  • Prepare business projection for the months, quarters & year.
  • Provide guidance to Territory Managers by keeping abreast of market trends to achieve market share metrics in the city & State.

Sales Management

  • Ensure daily activity from TMs and leads updation in BMT & LMS.
  • Conduct Training & Development program with the help of Training & content team.
  • Drive IC recruitment thru various initiatives
  • Drive IC activation through regular interaction and motivation
  • Drive persistency in line with the set persistency targets (13th month 85% & 25th month at 80%)
  • Leverage incentive program to drive qualification of Insurance consultants
  • Provide regular feedback and suggestions to the team through daily/ weekly/ monthly performance review and provide inputs on what is working and what is not working.

Relationship Management

  • Collaborate with HO and Agency team to improve performance of team members.
  • Maintain relations with Insurance consultants/ distributors to drive maximum output.
  • Coordinate with Operations Team (ZOM/ SOM/DOH) to ensure policy login and issuance.

Training & Development

  • Impart regular training with the help of training team and product & underwriting team.
  • Impart refresher trainings to the sales team members/ ICs as and when required.

Stakeholder Management.

  • Coordinate with HO team for product, Operation & Underwriting support

Preferred candidate profile

a) Work Experience

  • 10-15 years + experience with min 6 years of Team management
  • Life Insurance Agency Channel / Variable Agency preferred candidate from Core Agency, Term or Retirement product.
  • Understanding of Key Vectors & Sales Equation of Agency channel
