The Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven
Business Development Manager (BDM)
to establish and aggressively grow Myownhealthcare's market presence across the
Middle East and North Africa (MENA)
region. This role is critical to our international expansion and requires an individual who can strategically identify, negotiate, and secure new business partnerships within the pharmaceutical, retail, and healthcare distribution sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Entry & Strategy:
Develop and execute a comprehensive market entry strategy for the MENA region, including target market selection, regulatory pathway assessment, and product prioritization. - Partnership Acquisition:
Identify, evaluate, and secure strategic business relationships, including distributors, wholesalers, major retail pharmacy chains, and potential licensing partners. - Sales Growth:
Drive significant new revenue by establishing sales channels and managing the initial sales pipeline to achieve aggressive expansion targets. - Stakeholder Management:
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals (doctors, fertility clinics, gynecologists), and governmental bodies to promote product adoption. - Compliance & Localisation:
Ensure all business development activities and product distribution strategies comply with local regulatory requirements and cultural sensitivities across the MENA region. - Reporting:
Provide regular, detailed reporting on market performance, sales forecasts, competitor activity, and strategic opportunities to the executive team. - Represent the Company:
Act as Myownhealthcare's primary representative at regional industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
What You Will Bring:
- Proven Experience:
A minimum of 5 years of successful experience in Business Development, Sales, or a similar commercial role, with a strong focus on the
MENA or Middle Eastern healthcare/pharmaceutical market. - Industry Knowledge:
Demonstrated knowledge and established network within the
fertility, maternal health, nutraceutical, or pharmaceutical distribution
channels in the target region is highly advantageous. - Language Skills:
Fluency in
English
is essential. Fluency in
Arabic
is a significant advantage, highly preferred, and often required for effective communication with local partners. - Strategic Acumen:
Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills with a proven ability to close large-scale deals and manage complex partnerships. - Travel:
Willingness and ability to travel extensively across the MENA region as required (up to 50%+). - Education:
A Bachelor's degree in Business, Pharmacy, Science, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
