About the Role

The Business Development Manager (BDM) at Divinelane will be responsible for driving business expansion in the premium spiritual and lifestyle segment.

This role demands a strong blend of consultative selling, relationship management, and strategic execution to promote gemstones, diamonds, and Rudraksha products, along with astrology and wellness services. You will play a key role in revenue generation, client onboarding, partnership development, and customer satisfaction, working closely with marketing and operations teams to ensure growth and brand visibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Research & Opportunity Identification

*Conduct detailed market research to identify potential clients, emerging trends, and growth opportunities in the gemstone, diamond, and spiritual product markets. Monitor competitor offerings and consumer preferences to position Divinelane as a trusted premium brand.

  • Sales Strategy & Execution

*Develop and execute high-conversion sales strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly revenue goals.

* Build a consistent sales funnel through lead generation, prospecting, and relationship nurturing. Ensure every client interaction reflects Divinelane's commitment to authenticity, trust, and value.

  • Client Relationship Management

*Build strong, long-term relationships with customers seeking gemstones, diamonds, or Rudraksha recommendations.

* Offer personalized consultation experiences that align with client requirements, preferences, and astrological guidance.

* Manage client follow-ups and ensure exceptional post-purchase service and retention.

  • Lead Generation & Negotiation

* Identify high-quality leads through digital channels, referrals, and partner networks.

* Conduct one-on-one consultations (online/offline) to guide clients through selection, authenticity assurance, and purchase decisions.

* Negotiate pricing and close deals with a focus on profitability and customer satisfaction.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration

* Collaborate with marketing for campaigns, influencer partnerships, and digital promotions.

* Provide feedback to the operations and logistics teams for efficient order fulfillment and after-sales experience.

  • Reporting & Performance Tracking

* Maintain and update client data, lead status, and conversions using CRM tools. * Present weekly reports to senior management covering sales performance, opportunities, and challenges.

  • Customer Retention & Upselling

* Build loyalty through repeat engagement and personalized offers. * Identify opportunities for cross-selling premium stones, Rudraksha combinations, or complementary astrology services.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3–7 years of experience in **Sales, Business Development, or Client Relationship Management**, preferably in **Ed tech, Training, Service, luxury goods, jewelry, astrology, or wellness industries**.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong understanding of premium retail or consultation-based selling.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High emotional intelligence and consultative selling approach.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred)
