We are a fast-growing retail group seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Finance to lead our finance function. The ideal candidate should bring both strong technical knowledge and practical experience in retail finance to drive efficiency, growth, and financial discipline across the organization.

Key Responsibilities


• Financial Leadership


• Own and oversee the company's balance sheet, profit & loss, accounts payables, and receivables.


• Lead cash flow management and budgeting, ensuring a healthy working capital cycle.


• Implement business forecasts (1–2 years) to guide strategic decision-making.


• Retail Finance & Operations


• Drive inventory management and supply chain finance controls.


• Partner with operations teams to optimize stock turns, margins, and vendor payments.


• Lead performance incentive planning for staff linked to business outcomes.


• Technology & Systems


• Oversee finance IT systems implementation (ERP/accounting automation).


• Strengthen reporting systems for real-time business insights.


• Banking, Funding & Compliance


• Liaise with banks and financial institutions for project funding, working capital, CDTM, and structured finance.


• Explore and secure funding through government schemes and subsidies.


• Ensure all statutory, tax, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications & Experience


• CA / CMA / Cost Accountant / Inter-CA (CA or CMA strongly preferred for retail finance).


• Minimum 8 years of overall experience in finance, with 3–4 years in the retail sector (mandatory).


• Strong knowledge of retail accounting practices, inventory management, and supply chain finance.


• Proven experience in cash flow forecasting, banking relations, and fundraising.


• Tech-savvy with exposure to finance ERP/IT systems.


• Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
