Job Description: Manager Sales – Contrast Media
Location: South and West
Reporting To: GM
Role Objective
To lead and drive the sales, business development, and overall growth of the Contrast Media and Medical Devices portfolio across the assigned region. The role includes managing commercial performance, achieving revenue vs. realization targets, strengthening customer relationships, and representing the organization effectively in the market.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Business Growth
- Develop and implement the regional sales and distribution strategy for Contrast Media and associated medical delivery systems.
- Achieve revenue, profitability, and market share targets across assigned territories.
- Create and execute territory plans, including promotional activities and new customer acquisition strategies across government and private healthcare segments.
- Strengthen engagement with hospitals, diagnostic chains, imaging centers, and distributors to expand business presence.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and Key Accounts (KAs) through regular visits, product discussions, and relationship management
- Weekly monitoring of sales metrics, analysing performance trends, competition activities, and market dynamics to identify new opportunities.
- Manage the complete sales cycle—from lead generation to negotiation, closure, onboarding, and post-sales support—ensuring an excellent customer experience.
Pharmacovigilance (PV) Compliance
- Ensure all PV-related activities are executed as per regulatory guidelines and company SOPs.
- Act as the regional escalation point for any adverse event, complaint, or product quality issue reported by customers.
- Ensure timely communication of PV incidents to the company within the mandated timelines for regulatory reporting.
Cross-Divisional Collaboration
- Work closely with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Product Management teams to execute integrated campaigns and drive synergistic sales growth.
- Support cross-selling initiatives by aligning with parallel business teams for combined product offerings.
- Provide market feedback to product and marketing teams to support portfolio enhancement and demand planning.
Team & Stakeholder Management
- Foster a culture of compliance, accountability, customer-centricity, and performance orientation across the team.
- Mentor and guide regional sales executives/distributors (if applicable) to achieve monthly and quarterly goals.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth order processing, timely delivery, and resolution of customer concerns.
- Ensure alignment between field activities and organizational priorities through regular reporting and reviews.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Pharmacy, Medical Technology, or Business; MBA preferred.
- 5–10 years of experience in sales of Contrast Media, Diagnostic Imaging, Radiology Products, or Medical Devices.
- Strong understanding of government and private hospital procurement ecosystem. Proven track record in territory management, KOL engagement, and achieving sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
