JOB OVERVIEW
The
Sales Account Manager will focus on
driving business growth in the India market
while also exploring opportunities across the APAC region. This role involves prospecting new customers, managing and nurturing relationships with existing clients, and closing deals to achieve and exceed sales targets.
JOB ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Account Development and Sales Expansion
- Develop new accounts and expand the customer base, with a primary focus on the
India market
and a secondary focus across APAC. - Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients to maximize opportunities.
Sales Strategy and Execution
- Proactively engage with assigned accounts to identify and secure new business.
- Implement sales strategies to achieve and surpass revenue targets.
Sales Process Management
- Manage the full sales cycle with urgency and accuracy: RFQ, quoting, order processing, and fulfillment.
CRM and Documentation
- Accurately record and update prospecting, pipeline, and sales activities in the CRM system.
Collaboration and Coordination
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services.
- Work closely with HR and Finance in Singapore to support the setup of the Japan office.
Market Awareness and Opportunity Identification
- Stay current with industry trends and market developments to identify new opportunities.
Performance Tracking and Reporting
- Drive and track weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance and sales metrics.
Ad-hoc Duties
- Undertake additional tasks as required to support business and office operations.
JOB REQUIREMENT(S)
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Minimum
2 years of proven success in B2B sales
, preferably within the electronic components or related distribution industry. - Strong industry knowledge and ability to build, manage, and grow customer relationships.
- Prior experience in supporting office/entity setup or operational launches will be an advantage, but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Independent, proactive, and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel as required to support business objectives.
