We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Associate to join our finance team. This is a junior-level position, ideal for recent graduates or candidates with 1–3 years of accounting experience who are eager to grow their career in finance. The Accounting Associate will support day-to-day accounting operations, assist with financial reporting, and ensure accurate record-keeping in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Generate and send invoices to customers accurately and promptly
  • Close payment batches and reconcile transactions
  • Manage designated customer accounts and maintain account records
  • Communicate with customers regarding billing inquiries, payment statuses, and discrepancies
  • Collect payments and follow up on overdue accounts
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve invoicing and payment issues
  • Collaborate with team members to improve invoicing and payment processes
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of transactions and customer interactions

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in accounting, billing, or finance roles preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Familiarity with accounting software Quickbooks and accounting principles
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently
