Product Support Engineer

Role & responsibilities

1) Root cause analysis in case of major/critical breakdowns. Identify the root cause of service issues and implement effective solutions.

2) Assisting & Advising mechanics in service complaints resolution in the field.

3) Act as a liaison between mechanics and R & D team and enable faster and more reliable

communication and feedback.

4) Maintain accurate documentation of service activities, including reports, manuals, SOPs and

troubleshooting guides.

5) Execute and implement engineering changes, if any, as recommended by the R&D team on vehicles on field.

6) Train and skill up mechanics on Product from time to time.

7) Ensuring the optimum productivity of mechanics.

8) Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service efficiency.

9) Collaborate with other service engineers, technical support, and cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues and raise the same to the Central team.

10) Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations while performing service activities. Audit of all

guidelines on field.

11) Implement preventive maintenance programs and vehicle functionality check to minimize downtime and enhance equipment/system reliability.
