ABOUT THE TEAM:

The Business Finance Team Lead is responsible for scaling Tide's Working Capital Lending business. The team drives customer acquisition through DSA networks, channel partners, and open market sourcing. By building strong local connects, managing high-performing partners, and offering tailored SME finance products, the team ensures Tide becomes a trusted partner for business loans in India.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As Business Finance Team Lead (Channel Sales Manager – Working Capital Loans), you will be responsible for driving revenue and loan disbursements through DSA and open market channels. You will build and manage channel partnerships, expand SME outreach, and deliver business growth in working capital loans. This is a sales-driven role that requires strong DSA relationships, fintech/NBFC experience, and deep knowledge of SME lending.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Identify, onboard, and manage DSAs and channel partners to generate working capital loan business.
  • Build strong connects with regional and national DSAs, ensuring consistent business inflow.
  • Drive sourcing of SME clients through open market sales strategies.
  • Achieve revenue, sourcing, and disbursement targets as per business plan.
  • Promote and cross-sell working capital finance products such as Cash Credit, Overdraft, Invoice Discounting, Letters of Credit, Bank Guarantees, and Supply Chain Finance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, product, credit, legal, operations) for smooth processing and partner support.
  • Track partner performance, monitor KPIs, and drive productivity through regular reviews.
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, competitor strategies, and regulatory updates.
  • Provide product and compliance training to DSAs and channel partners.
  • Lead and support a small sales team to deliver on collective goals.

WHO WILL BE A GREAT FIT:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in SME Lending / Working Capital Loan Sales.
  • Strong network of DSAs (regional & national) and proven success in channel sales.
  • Hands-on experience with SME lending products (CC, OD, LC, BG, Invoice Discounting, Supply Chain Finance).
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Proven track record of achieving loan sales/revenue targets.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, MS Excel, and loan MIS reporting.
  • Knowledge of NBFC/Fintech compliance and SME finance regulations.
