Business Analyst (India)

Reports to

Head of IT

Due to continued growth, we are now seeking Business Analyst to join our existing DevOps team. PLS are a modern law firm who specialize in property law.

The successful candidate will have in depth Visio or similar process mapping software experience, ideally with experience within a similar conveyancing firm. Knowledge of Conveyancing would be advantageous.

Duties

·       Engage with stakeholders to understand and capture current operational processes

·       Conduct workshops or interviews with subject matter experts to extract end-to-end workflows

·       Analyse existing documentation or system outputs to map 'as-is' processes accurately

·       Create detailed and clear process maps using Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart, or equivalent tools

·       Ensure consistency in process documentation standards

·       Review drafted maps with relevant teams to validate accuracy and completeness

·       Update and maintain a central repository of process diagrams for wider business reference

·       Highlight inefficiencies or potential improvement areas identified during mapping

·       Work closely with Quality or Compliance teams to align documentation with regulatory needs

·       Support process improvement initiatives by providing clear visual representations of current workflows

·       Familiarity with the Proclaim (Eclipse) case management system is a bonus and will be beneficial for workflow projects.

Training & Development

· You will ensure that you fully understand and adhere to all the relevant company policies and procedures as set out on the Training Portal and the Company Intranet

· You will undertake all training and reading allocated to you on the Training Portal (Access Training) in the timescales set by the Training Team

· You will ensure you attend all other training sessions that are rolled out to you by the Training Team

·
You will ensure that your training record is kept fully up to date
