Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations in functional activities, self care, daily living, work activities, leisure and play.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to help individuals achieve optimal independence by improving and restoring skill in the above areas.
  • Knowledge of different sensory systems and their contribution to our function in daily lives, ability to diagnose malfunction of these systems and design sensory integration programs is necessary.
  • Prescribe and train in the use of assistive technology or devices.
  • Conduct individual and group-based interventions to improve functional ability.
  • Educate and provide training for family members and caregivers on interventions and
  • care giving skills.
  • Contribute towards continuous quality improvement in the department and
  • organization overall.
  • Monitor intervention programmes and review its effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with other teaching staff and function as a resource person in integrating
  • the occupational therapy objectives into the program.
  • Eligibility:
  • Hold a recognised qualification in occupational therapy (Graduate).
  • Desirable: 1-2 years work experience with people with special needs children, ASD
  • and/or other developmental disabilities will be preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: Up to ₹65,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Bangalore, Karnataka: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
