We are seeking a highly motivated and professional IT Appointment Setter to support our business development and sales team by engaging with potential business clients. The role involves cold calling, qualifying leads, setting appointments, and managing CRM systems, primarily focused on technology and IT services/products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make outbound calls to prospective B2B clients to introduce the company's IT solutions (e.g., cloud services, cybersecurity, infrastructure, software, managed services).
  • Qualify prospects based on defined criteria (industry, budget, IT requirements, decision-maker status).
  • Set up appointments or discovery calls for the senior sales team.
  • Maintain and update CRM system with accurate and timely notes on all prospect interactions.
  • Conduct follow-up calls and emails to nurture leads through the sales funnel.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and sales team to refine outreach messaging and campaign strategies.
  • Meet or exceed weekly/monthly targets for call volume and appointments set.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in telemarketing, outbound sales, lead generation, or appointment setting, preferably in the IT or technology sector.
  • Excellent verbal communication and persuasive skills.
  • Comfortable making high volumes of cold calls each day.
  • Familiarity with CRMs like Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zoho is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of basic IT concepts (cloud computing, cybersecurity, SaaS, etc.) is highly advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in English (verbal and written).

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Year 12 completion.
  • Certificate IV or higher in Sales, Business, IT, or a related field is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • On-the-job training will be provided for the right candidate with a great attitude and strong communication skills.
