Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and goal-driven Business Development Manager – Inside Sales to strengthen our client network and drive revenue growth. The role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and generating leads for international and domestic logistics operations from our Kerala office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and generate new business leads through calls, emails, and online networking.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Understand client logistics needs (Air, Sea, and Land Freight) and provide customized solutions.
  • Coordinate with the pricing and operations teams to prepare and submit quotations.
  • Follow up on quotations, negotiate pricing, and close deals.
  • Maintain client database, sales pipeline, and regular communication logs.
  • Conduct market research to identify new industries and potential clients.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance reports.
  • Collaborate with the Dubai sales and operations teams for smooth business execution.
  • Achieve assigned sales and revenue targets.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Logistics.
  • 3–5 years of experience in business development / inside sales within the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain B2B client relationships.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills in English and Malayalam.
  • Excellent coordination, follow-up, and presentation abilities.
  • Good understanding of air, sea, and land freight operations and pricing.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in international client acquisition or GCC logistics coordination.
  • Familiarity with Incoterms, trade routes, and shipping documentation.
  • Goal-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
