  • Take orders, ensure timely delivery, and follow up on payments.
  • Address customer queries, feedback, and complaints professionally.
  • Territory management:
  • Regularly cover all key outlets within the territory.
  • Monitor stock levels at retail and distributor points.
  • Identify and develop new customers and dealer networks.
  • Sales and market analysis:
  • Analyze market trends and customer behavior to identify new sales opportunities.
  • Monitor competitor activities and sales performance within the territory.
  • Report sales performance, market insights, and other relevant data to management.
  • Promotional activities:
  • Implement sales promotions, schemes, and product launches.
  • Help customers make informed choices and act as a product ambassador.
  • Administrative duties:
  • Maintain accurate customer records and sales data, often using a CRM or sales app.
  • Prepare sales reports and forecasts.
  • Collaboration:
  • Coordinate with internal departments like logistics, sales support, and product teams.
  • Collaborate with sales representatives from other territories when needed.

Required skills and qualifications

  • Proven work experience as a sales representative in a similar role.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales software/CRM tools.
  • Ability to work independently and manage strict deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
  • A bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, or a related field is often preferred.
