About Lokal :
In 2018, we began with a WhatsApp group with a simple hypothesis: people in tier-2/3 towns weren't really using the internet meaningfully yet. We believed that if we started with local content in their own language, they'd come back every day; once there was a habit and trust, that same space could naturally grow into classifieds and, eventually, something they used for almost everything online.
This spark became Lokal. Our first instinct was to put everything in one place & one app - local updates, classifieds, jobs, matrimony and more. It worked, till it stopped working. Role Overview :
We're seeking a dynamic and execution-focused resource of Supply Operations to build, scale, and manage the supply side of AstroLokal's astrology business. This leader will own supply strategy, onboarding, retention, and revenue optimization while growing our network of astrologers and spiritual service providers.

Key Responsibilities :
Supply Growth & Strategy:
Build a robust supply ecosystem of astrologers and spiritual experts.
Define supply-side strategies to match user demand, pricing, and engagement goals.
Lead data-backed decision-making for scaling supply effectively.
Execution & Operations:
Own end-to-end onboarding, training, and quality control for astrologers.
Implement churn management and retention strategies, ensuring a high-quality supply pool.
Streamline supply operations with scalable processes and technology interventions.
Leadership & People Management:
Hire, mentor, and lead a high-performing supply operations team.
Drive execution excellence while building a strong operational foundation.
Business Growth & Partnerships:
Explore and execute B2B tie-ups to strengthen supply partnerships.
Design loyalty programs, incentives, and additional offerings to increase astrologer engagement.
Market Insights & P&L Ownership:
Conduct competitive analysis to stay ahead of market dynamics.
Take full ownership of P&L for supply operations and achieve profitability goals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with Data-driven decision-making and analytical skills.
- 5+ years of experience in fast-paced B2C startups.
- Prior leadership in supply ops, Creator Ops, or Community management.
- Experience in managing large teams and budgets.
- Exposure to tech-driven businesses at the intersection of product, operations, and strategy.
- Strong analytical thinking and first-principle problem-solving.
- Proven expertise in supply-demand operations and team leadership.
- Fast execution mindset with strong process orientation.
- Preference for candidates from Astrology, Content, or High-Growth Social media platforms or content startups
Bonus points if you have had exposure to
- 1-2 years of experience at a fast paced start up
- Managing large scale strategic / transformation projects in your prior role
- Roles at the intersection of business, product (consumer / media), and tech
- Driving both strategic and tactical decision making
