Manager – Legal CounselWe are seeking a dynamic member to join our Legal Department at JLL, a leading international property consultancy firm. This role will support the legal team in managing complex legal and compliance matters across our diverse real estate portfolio while ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and mitigating legal risks.Key ResponsibilitiesLegal Operations & ComplianceDetect and assess legal risks and contractual liabilities, providing legal advice on non-compliant issues.tracking and reporting legal incidents.Contract Management & AdvisoryDraft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts including property transactions, service agreements, and partnership arrangementsProvide legal guidance to business stakeholders on various business matters.Monitor contracting activities and implement legal risk mitigation strategies.Strategic Legal SupportResearch and analyze emerging legal regimes and regulatory changes affecting the REA/IPCs.Liaise with external counsel on litigation matters and regulatory investigations.Support business development by identifying legal solutions that enable commercial objectives.Essential RequirementsExperience & QualificationsMinimum 3-6 years post-qualification experience in legal practice, preferably in commercial law, with prior corporate legal environment experience or legal firms.Law degree (LLB) from reputed institutionAdmission to practice law in relevant jurisdiction preferredTechnical ExpertiseCommercial Contracting: Proven experience in drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements.
