General Manager – Operations Position Type: Full TimeLocation: Corporate Office, HyderabadFunction: Operations & ManagementAbout the Role:The General Manager Operations - O&M business will own, be responsible & accountable for ensuring operations on the client sites are conducted as per client standards and expectations. The individual will assess plan, organize, and execute operation requirements for client businesses.

The role will also require deep relationship connects with all stakeholders including customers, employees and suppliers to create a win-win proposition that creates value to customers as well as Sigachi. Key Job Responsibilities:Oversee a large number of managed services contracts across multiple clients and sites. This includes:Setting success criteria and KPIsCreating a strong set of SOPsHiring, training and deployment of a team that understand and adheres to the SOPs set out.

Setting up and ensuring smooth running of daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting frameworks. Managing client relationships – especially with client managers responsible for the oversight of the services being by the Sigachi O&M team

Have a good understanding and experience of the commercial structure of such contracts / programs.Recruit and deploy at scale.Lead a large workforce including overseeing all aspects of their performance management and well-being. What a good candidate will bring:Experience of having led a significant team that delivered no less than INR 300 crores of O&M revenues in the India market.Experience of having overseen multiple contract sties (no less than 4-5 large sites) at a given moment of time

Ability to perform under pressure; someone who leads from the front; ability to train a winning sales team; high ethical bar.Ability to showcase his / her ability to be an excellent people manager.Job Specification: Strong operations management experience to run best in class practices.Project cum operations experience with focus on safety & productivity

Sound knowledge on "O&M" contracts, including techno-commercial legal aspects of such contracts

Resourceful in building high performance teams, develop next generation of leaders within the company. Long, wide & deep network contact of people, decision makers, influencers and others that helps in establishing long lasting business relationships. Hands on involvement for operational excellence including big ticket initiatives for Process Improvement, Innovation, Technology deployment, LEAN / 6 Sigma projects among others.

Qualification – Bachelors' / master's in chemical engineering or any other engineering discipline. MBA is preferred. Other pre-requisites:Will operate out of the Sigachi corporate office at Hyderabad.
