Role Overview:

As a Hardware Executive, you will be the cornerstone of our office's physical technology infrastructure. You will ensure all computer systems, peripherals, and networking equipment run smoothly, providing direct support to our team and enabling seamless day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hardware Maintenance & Support: Install, configure, troubleshoot, and repair desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain and track IT hardware inventory, manage stock levels, and coordinate with vendors for procurement.
  • Network & Setup: Assist in setting up and maintaining local area network (LAN), Wi-Fi, and internet connectivity. Manage cabling and physical network points.
  • User Assistance: Provide timely on-site and remote technical support to staff for all hardware-related issues.
  • Vendor Coordination: Liaise with external vendors for hardware repairs, warranties, and support services.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Perform regular checks and preventive maintenance to ensure hardware longevity and minimize downtime.

Requirements:

  • A diploma or degree in IT, Hardware or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in hardware support and troubleshooting.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of computer assembly, disassembly, and component-level troubleshooting.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, LAN, Wi-Fi).
  • Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
