Role & responsibilities

Identify, research, and create a strong database of potential exhibitors (manufacturers, distributors, wholesalers) through in-person visits, social media, referrals, and market research.

  • Conduct on-ground visits to B2B exhibitions and industry events (within city and outstation) to collect data and generate hot leads for our upcoming events.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with B2B clients through regular communication (calls, WhatsApp, meetings, and emails).
  • Share timely updates about upcoming events and effectively convince clients to participate by booking stalls.
  • Achieve monthly sales targets and performance goals.
  • Assist in event operations, coordination, and execution as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to company SOPs before, during, and after each exhibition.
  • Coordinate with authorities for event-related permissions (e.g., police, venue management, etc.).
  • Manage invoicing, payment follow-ups, and ensure timely client communication.
  • Maintain daily MIS reports and update management on progress, challenges, and outcomes.
  • Support overall business operations and contribute to improving systems and processes.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Graduates with 3+ years or MBA with 2+ years of experience in concept selling, B2B sales, exhibitions, trade shows or event management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English and Hindi.
  • Proficiency in MS OFFICE (MS Excel mandatory) and comfortable with technology-based tracking and reporting.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of multitasking.
  • Willingness to travel locally and outstation as part of business development and event operations.
  • Flexible to work extended hours during events.
