Business Development Manager
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Prospect & generate leads through referrals, industry networks, business databases, and digital channels.
2. Undertake targeted outreach (cold outreach – email, phone, LinkedIn, warm outreach – networking, industry events, referrals) to C-level executives (CXOs) to introduce services, identify needs, and gather essential information for lead qualification.
3. Qualify leads using the BANT framework (Budget, Authority, Need, and Timeline) to ensure they meet the criteria for further engagement and scheduling meetings.
4. Schedule & set up high-impact meetings for partners with qualified leads, managing a monthly target
5. Track progress and maintain accurate records of calls, meetings, and event participation in the CRM system, ensuring the pipeline remains updated.
6. Attend industry events & networking forums to build relationships and generate leads.
7. Conduct market research & stay updated on industry trends, competitors & client needs.
Requirements:
1. Master's in mass communications, commerce or business administration
2. At least 2-6 years of work experience in prospecting and qualifying leads
3. Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
4. Advanced proficiency in CRM Software, MS Office, G Workspace and leveraging AI tools
5. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
6. Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Strong prospecting, relationship-building, and communication skills.
- Experience in consultative selling, partnerships, or high-value B2B sales.
- Self-driven, structured, and proactive in lead generation and follow-ups.
- Background in professional services, finance, or consulting is a plus.
Evaluation Process
: Case study and 2 interview rounds with VPs and Partners
Location
: Hyderabad; 5-days a week; full-time work from office
Compensation
: CTC (fixed + variable) of 12-15 Lakhs per annum based on profile, work experience and performance during evaluation process.
Employment Terms
: 3-month probation period to evaluate performance
