Role Description
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Procurement Manager to lead our procurement function. This role is responsible for developing procurement strategies, optimizing supplier relationships, controlling costs, and ensuring the timely acquisition of quality goods and services. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, a deep understanding of supply chain management, and the ability to lead a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with company goals and growth plans.
  • Lead, manage, and mentor the procurement team to ensure efficient operations and high performance.
  • Identify, evaluate, and manage vendor relationships to secure the best value and mitigate risk.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers.
  • Monitor procurement budgets and implement cost control measures.
  • Ensure procurement processes are efficient, compliant, and support sustainability initiatives.
  • Analyse procurement data and market trends to inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to understand and fulfil material and service requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and company standards in all procurement activities.
  • Prepare regular procurement reports and performance analysis for senior Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 5-12 years of progressive experience in procurement or supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship skills.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop a high-performing procurement team.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems.
