Role Overview
The Guest Experience Assistant will be the champion of our guests' journey — before, during, and after their stay. You will ensure every guest feels valued, cared for, and excited to return. From warm pre-arrival interactions to surprise-and-delight moments during the stay, you'll set the gold standard for 8MH hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
1. Pre-Arrival
- Connect with each guest post-booking via WhatsApp/call to understand preferences and requirements.
- Share property details, curated local guides, and safety information.
- Collect alternative contact numbers (for smooth communication & guest safety).
2. During Stay
- Be the single point of contact for guest queries and support.
- Coordinate with caretaker/property staff to ensure flawless service.
- Plan and execute small "delight" gestures (welcome notes, special meal setups, bonfires, surprises).
- Monitor WhatsApp/chat for proactive problem resolution.
3. Post-Stay
- Collect structured feedback + personal anecdotes.
- Encourage repeat bookings and referrals.
- Share memorable touches (like a group photo or a thank-you message) to leave a lasting impression.
4. Internal
- Train caretaker teams on guest interaction SOPs.
- Audit guest experience standards at each property.
- Collaborate with Marketing to highlight memorable guest stories.
What We're Looking For
- 2–6 years' experience in hospitality/guest relations (hotels, boutique resorts, airlines, or luxury retail).
- Excellent communication skills — warm, clear, and empathetic.
- Strong coordination and follow-up abilities.
- Tech-comfortable (WhatsApp Business, CRM, booking platforms).
- Passionate about creating memorable experiences.
- Flexible to travel to properties when required.
