**Job Overview**:
The Guest Quant Faculty for GRE is responsible for teaching the GRE quantitative reasoning section. The primary focus will be on helping students master topics such as algebra, arithmetic, data interpretation, and geometry, as well as improving their ability to solve quantitative problems efficiently. The faculty will also assist students with test-taking strategies to optimize their performance on the GRE.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Instruction**:
- Teach GRE quantitative reasoning topics, including arithmetic, algebra, geometry, probability, and data analysis.
- Provide in-depth explanations of problem-solving strategies for both problem-solving and data interpretation questions.
- Develop and deliver engaging lessons that improve students’ understanding of key concepts in mathematics.
- **Curriculum Development**:
- Design and create lesson plans and educational materials focused on the GRE quantitative section.
- Ensure the materials are aligned with the latest GRE exam format and address the specific needs of students preparing for the test.
- Regularly update content to reflect changes in the GRE format and new approaches to teaching mathematics.
- **Student Assessment**:
- Conduct regular quizzes, mock tests, and assignments to assess student progress.
- Provide detailed feedback on student performance, identifying areas of strength and improvement.
- Help students analyze their mistakes and develop strategies to avoid them in the future.
- **Student Mentoring**:
- Offer personalized guidance on time management, tackling difficult questions, and test-taking strategies for the quantitative section of the GRE.
- Provide additional practice resources or personalized exercises to help students improve their skills.
- Offer additional tutoring or clarification for students struggling with specific topics.
- **Mock Exams & Practice Sessions**:
- Organize and supervise mock tests to help students experience the actual GRE exam environment.
- Review mock test results with students, providing actionable feedback to improve their performance.
- Teach students techniques for managing time during the exam and handling high-pressure situations.
- **Review and Feedback**:
- Track student progress and offer continuous feedback to improve their quantitative reasoning skills.
- Recommend tailored study plans or extra practice based on individual student performance.
- Provide clear and constructive feedback after each session and mock test.
- **Collaboration**:
- Work closely with other faculty members to provide a holistic GRE preparation experience.
- Collaborate with the program coordinator to align teaching methods and content with the overall curriculum.
- Provide insights and feedback to improve course materials and the student learning experience.
**Qualifications**:
- A strong academic background in Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, or related fields.
- Proven experience in teaching or tutoring, especially in GRE quantitative preparation.
- In-depth knowledge of GRE quantitative topics, including algebra, arithmetic, geometry, and data analysis.
- Experience in teaching or tutoring standardized tests such as GRE, SAT, or GMAT is preferred.
- Familiarity with GRE prep materials, practice exams, and resources.

- Strong mathematical problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to simplify complex mathematical concepts and explain them in an easy-to-understand manner.
- Experience with test-taking strategies and time management techniques for standardized exams.

**Preferred Qualifications**:
