Job Description:
We are hiring an experienced
Area Sales Manager
to manage and expand our business in the
Nashik
region. The role involves overseeing channel sales, market development, and customer engagement for our premium beverage portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive primary & secondary sales
to achieve targets. - Launch new products,
and
open new markets
in the territory. - Ensure
product availability, shelf placement
, and
visual merchandising
at outlets. - Ensure
repeat sale - Build & maintain relationships
with distributors, retailers, and trade partners. - Ensure product availability, visibility,
and
merchandising standards
. - Execute trade schemes, sampling,
and
promotional activities
. - Monitor distributor performance,
stock levels, and collections. - Conduct market visits
to track competition and gather market intelligence. - Coordinate with internal teams
for smooth operations and execution.
Team Management
- Recruit, train,
and
develop
a high-performing sales team. - Allocate beats, targets,
and launch objectives to team members. - Monitor daily performance
and market execution. - Conduct team reviews, coaching,
and skill development sessions. - Ensure compliance
with company policies and reporting standards.
Candidate Profile:
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, preferably from the
Alcoholic Beverage Industry Only
or allied sectors. - Strong knowledge of the
Nashik market
and retail/trade networks. - Good communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and adaptable to travel-based role.
- Graduate in any discipline; a background in sales/marketing is preferred.
