he Head – Procurement (Alcohol Distillery Operations) will lead and manage end-to-end procurement across multiple grain-based distillery plants in India. The role involves strategic sourcing of grains, malt, packaging materials, and operational consumables while ensuring cost efficiency, quality, and uninterrupted material supply. The candidate must have 10+ years of experience in distillery or beverage manufacturing, with prior experience as a Plant Manager or Purchase Head in a grain-based ENA or ethanol unit.

Key responsibilities include overseeing multi-location procurement, developing and maintaining a robust supplier network, conducting cost analysis and negotiations, finalizing Annual Rate Contracts (ARC) and Long-Term Agreements (LTA), and ensuring compliance with company standards. The role demands strong coordination with Production, Quality, and Finance teams to optimize material flow, inventory, and logistics.

Candidates must hold a graduate degree in Commerce, Science, or Engineering, with an MBA in Supply Chain or Materials Management preferred. Essential skills include deep knowledge of grain markets, negotiation and analytical expertise, and proficiency in ERP and digital procurement systems.

The ideal candidate should have managed bulk grain procurement (minimum 100 MT/day), possess an extensive network of suppliers and traders across India, and demonstrate leadership in multi-plant operations. Frequent travel is required for supplier evaluation and coordination. This position offers a salary of ₹1–1.5 lakh per month (negotiable) and the opportunity to drive procurement excellence for a leading and rapidly growing distillery organization.
