Job Description – Institutional Sales (AMC)

Experience: 3–4 Years

Salary Range: ₹12–15 LPA

Locations: Pune, Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Ahmedabad

About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Institutional Sales Professional with strong experience in the Asset Management industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for acquiring, managing, and growing institutional client relationships, driving AUM growth, and promoting AMC products across assigned territories.

Key Responsibilities
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management

Identify and acquire new institutional clients including Corporates, PF Trusts, Treasury desks, Family Offices, and other large investors.

Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers.

Conduct regular meetings, presentations, and product discussions with institutional clients.

Business Development & Revenue Generation

Achieve targets related to AUM growth, sales volumes, and client penetration.

Create and execute territory-specific sales strategies to maximize business opportunities.

Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and client needs for strategic planning.

Product Promotion & Advisory

Promote AMC investment products (Debt, Equity, Hybrid, Liquid, etc.) to institutional clients.

Provide investment updates, portfolio insights, and market intelligence to clients.

Coordinate with internal product, research, and operations teams to deliver seamless services.

Reporting & Compliance

Maintain accurate sales pipelines, MIS reporting, and client tracking tools.

Ensure compliance with SEBI, regulatory, and internal AMC guidelines.

Prepare periodic business reports, client reviews, and performance updates.

Key Skills & Competencies

Strong understanding of mutual funds, capital markets, and institutional investment requirements.

Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Ability to build influential client relationships and meet strict business targets.

Proactive, self-driven, and comfortable with field sales.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Eligibility Criteria

Bachelor's degree required; MBA/Finance specialization is preferred.

3–4 years of experience in AMC institutional sales or related financial services domain.

Strong network of institutional clients is an added advantage.

Willingness to travel across assigned locations.

Compensation

Salary: ₹12–15 LPA (based on experience & profile)
