The Spares/Service Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the service and spare parts departments. The role ensures efficient workshop functioning, customer satisfaction, proper inventory management, and achievement of service revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:1. Service Department Management

  • Supervise day-to-day workshop operations and allocate jobs to technicians.
  • Monitor vehicle service progress and ensure timely delivery.
  • Handle customer complaints and ensure high-quality service standards.
  • Conduct daily review meetings with service advisors and mechanics.
  • Ensure compliance with manufacturer service guidelines and warranty policies.

2. Spares Department Management

  • Manage spare parts inventory, ordering, and stock control.
  • Maintain adequate stock levels for fast-moving parts and avoid overstocking.
  • Verify parts issuance, billing, and reconciliation with service jobs.
  • Coordinate with the accounts department for stock valuation and vendor payments.

3. Customer Relationship Management

  • Maintain strong relationships with customers for repeat business.
  • Handle escalations and resolve service or parts-related issues promptly.
  • Ensure regular follow-up calls after service and delivery.

4. Business Development & Reporting

  • Achieve monthly service revenue, labour, and spare parts sales targets.
  • Plan service camps, free check-up events, and customer retention programs.
  • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly performance and stock reports.
  • Train and motivate service advisors, technicians, and spares staff.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25, ₹35,000.00 per month
