Within this broader tech landscape, the Tech Control Management Issues, Events, & Remediation Team plays a critical role. Its objective is to ensure timely identification, response, and resolution of risk events and issues—minimizing impact, preventing recurrence through effective remediation, and capturing lessons learned along the way.

We are looking to add a Manager of Issues, Events, & Remediation to the Tech Control Management Issues, Events & Remediation Team, to help embed strong control management practices into the day-to-day operations of our organization. This role involves extensive collaboration with partners across business units, functional areas, and geographies. You'll be pivotal in safeguarding the enterprise by driving the effective resolution of technology issues, strengthening the controls environment, and ensuring resilience across the business.

In this role, you will:

·       Lead root cause investigations to prevent recurring technology issues and ensure lessons learned drive long-term improvements.

·       Conduct quality assurance reviews on risk documentation, including severity assessments and impact analyses.

·       Partner with stakeholders across business units to track remediation progress, validate solutions, and communicate updates transparently.

·       Monitor and analyze issue trends to identify systemic risks or control weaknesses that require proactive attention.

·       Support reviews of the end-to-end issue resolution process, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards.

·       Perform sample testing to confirm issue resolutions are complete, effective, and sustainable.

·       Help prepare detailed reports that highlight status, trends, and emerging risks, while sharing insights and best practices across the enterprise.

Required Qualifications: 

· to 8+ years experience in operational risk management (ideally within Technology or Auditing).

·       Strong knowledge of risk management lifecycle activities and their application to technology.

·       Solid communication, interpersonal, and project management skills to influence and collaborate effectively.

·       Experience with process governance and alignment to policies, regulatory frameworks, and/or operational standards.

·       Knowledge and understanding of complex enterprise networks and infrastructures.

·       Proven analytical skills with the capacity to uncover patterns, evaluate complex scenarios through both data-driven and qualitative analysis, and deliver recommendations that drive effective outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications: 

·       Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information/Cyber Technology, Engineering, Finance, Business, Risk Management or related field (advanced degrees and certifications such as MS, MSc, ME, MBA, CISA, CISM, CISSP, CSEP, ABET, PMP, ISO, NIST, etc. are highly valued).

·       Hands-on experience with:

·       Scoping, prioritizing, and supporting remediation of operational technology issues.

·       Conducting root cause analyses and process ownership determination for technology risks.

·       Performing quality assurance on documentation of risk issues/events.

·       Recommending remediation strategies for operational risks.

·       Supporting the end-to-end issue resolution process within large, complex organizations.
