Role Overview

We are looking for a visionary Co-Founder & Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead financial strategy, fundraising, and growth planning for our AgriTech startup. The role involves building financial systems from scratch, driving investor relations, and ensuring sustainable unit economics while working closely with the founding team to transform the agriculture value chain.

Key Responsibilities

Fundraising & Investor Relations – Lead equity/debt fundraising, manage cap table, and engage with VCs, angels, and agri funds.

Financial Strategy & Control – Build business models, monitor unit economics, manage cash flows, compliance, and taxation.

Growth & Partnerships – Support new revenue streams, partnerships with FPOs/cooperatives, and expansion into rural markets.

Governance & Reporting – Prepare MIS, investor decks, and ensure strong internal controls. Leadership – Build and lead finance team; foster culture of accountability and frugality.

Qualifications

CA / MBA Finance / CFA (preferred). 8–15 years in finance, with exposure to startups, agri, FMCG, or supply chain. Proven fundraising and investor management experience. Ideal Fit Entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable with ambiguity and risk. Passion for agriculture and farmer-focused innovation. Strong ethics, transparency, and collaborative leadership.

Compensation Equity:

₹40 Lakhs investment for 10% stake Salary: ₹1 Lakh/month (till next round of funding)
