NMDPL: Navbharat Mega Developers Pvt. Ltd. (NMDPL) is a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) formed through a joint venture between the Government of Maharashtra and the Adani Group. It leads the Dharavi Redevelopment Project, aiming to transform one of Asia's largest informal settlements into a modern urban hub with sustainable housing, infrastructure, and economic opportunities.

Job Purpose: The Skill & Empowerment Executive plays a critical role in implementing grassroots-level activities to support the organization's skill development and employment initiatives. This role involves direct community engagement, facilitation of training programs, mobilization of beneficiaries, and ensuring operational support at training centres. The Executive will work closely with trainers, community members, and internal teams to ensure smooth program execution and positive beneficiary outcomes.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain relationships with companies / industries and third-party placement agencies to facilitate recruitment opportunities for candidates.
  2. Collaborate with Academic Institutes, NGO's and Career guidance institutes to tap opportunities for placements.
  3. Provide regular reports and updates on placement activities and outcomes to your reporting manager.
  4. Keep yourself well-informed about the latest industry trends, labour market dynamics, and the demands of employers.
  5. Work collaboratively with other members of the team and extend support wherever needed. Be a part of Community engagement initiatives and other stakeholder events.
  6. Organize Industry meet, workshops, round table meetings etc. Connect with Industry experts and intelligentsia.

Qualifications

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Work Experience (Range of years):

  1. 2- 4 Years in experience Corporates/ NGO's / Start-Up / Third Party agencies like Team lease 
  2. The job primarily needs concept selling. Hence people who are good at promoting, selling or advocacy would be a good fit.
  3. Knowledge of the Industry recruitment processes and needs.
  4. Excellent communication, interpersonal and networking skills.
  5. Ability to build relationships with various stakeholders.
  6. Develop and implement strategies to build relationships with potential employers and secure job placements for the candidates.

Preferred Industry:

  • Corporates/ NGO's / Start-Up / Third Party agencies like Team lease
  • Experience in skill development, training management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Proven expertise in program facilitation, partnership building, and training execution.
  • Strong understanding of government skill development policies and certification frameworks.
