Role Summary

The Safety Officer is responsible for monitoring and ensuring workplace safety by enforcing health and safety regulations, conducting inspections, providing training, and promoting a culture of safety within the organization. The role involves risk assessment, accident prevention, and compliance with statutory safety requirements

Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain health & safety policies and procedures.

Conduct risk assessments and enforce preventive measures.

Perform daily safety inspections of worksites, machinery, and equipment.

Ensure compliance with legal safety standards and company policies.

Organize safety drills, awareness programs, and toolbox talks.

Monitor proper usage of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) at all times.

Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses; prepare detailed reports and recommend corrective actions.

Maintain accurate records of safety audits, training, and incident reports.

Coordinate with external regulatory agencies and emergency services when required.

Promote a positive safety culture across the organization.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum : Degree or Diploma in Safety / Fire & safety / Environment , Health & Safety (EHS) or equivalent.

Requirement : ADIS ( Advance Diploma in Industrial Safety) - mandatory.
