Job Title: Site Safety Officer

Location: Pune

Salary: 35,000 To 40,000 Gross

Experience: 2 to 5 Years

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement site-specific safety plans, procedures, and policies.
  • Conduct regular site safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective/preventive measures.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory safety regulations, client requirements, and industry standards.
  • Deliver safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions to site employees.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date safety records, reports, and documentation.
  • Support ISO 45001:2018 implementation and compliance.
  • Coordinate safety-related activities with other project sites.
  • Prepare and share monthly HSE MIS reports with clients and head office.
  • Liaise effectively with clients and project teams on safety-related matters.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma / B.Sc. / BE / B. Tech with ADIS / PDIS in Safety Management or equivalent certification.
  • Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience as a Site Safety Officer in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction safety practices, statutory norms, and hazard control measures.
  • Hands-on experience in accident investigation, risk management, and HSE audits.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.
