Job description

Their main objective is to maintain a safe working environment by identifying and mitigating hazards and ensuring compliance with all relevant safety standards. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Implement Safety Programs: Create, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety policies, procedures, and protocols specific to the project site.
  • Conduct Inspections and Risk Assessments: Perform regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards, unsafe conditions, and compliance breaches.
  • Enforce Safety Regulations: Ensure strict adherence to all occupational health and safety (OHS) regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
  • Accident Investigation and Reporting: Investigate all accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine their root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Provide Safety Training: Conduct regular training sessions and orientations for all site personnel on safety procedures, hazard recognition, and the proper use of safety equipment.
  • Manage Safety Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all safety-related activities, including inspection reports, risk assessments, accident investigations, training logs, and compliance documentation.
  • Ensure Proper Use of PPE: Monitor and ensure that all workers consistently use the required personal protective equipment (PPE) for their tasks.
  • Promote a Safety Culture: Actively promote a proactive safety culture on the project site by fostering open communication about safety concerns and encouraging safe work practices.
  • Stay Updated on Regulations: Keep abreast of the latest changes in safety legislation, standards, and industry best practices to ensure the site remains compliant.
  • Collaborate and Communicate: Work closely with project managers, supervisors, engineers, and contractors to integrate safety into all aspects of the project and to address any identified safety concerns.
  • Emergency Preparedness: Support emergency preparedness efforts and ensure appropriate emergency response plans are in place and understood by all personnel.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25, ₹35,000.00 per month
