Must Haves

  • Bachelors degree in Commerce, Accounting, HR, or related field.
  • 3-6 years of experience in payroll processing (in-house or via vendor). Good understanding of payroll processes, taxation, and statutory compliances.
  • Hands-on experience with payroll software (e.g., GreytHR, SAP, ADP, etc.) and MS Excel.
  • High attention to detail, confidentiality, and data accuracy.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Your Day

  • Process end-to-end payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and adherence to timelines.
  • Maintain payroll records, including attendance, leaves, overtime, and other inputs from HRMS/biometric systems.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations (PF, ESI, PT, TDS, LWF, etc.) and handle related filings.
  • Coordinate with finance for disbursement of salaries and reimbursements.
  • Prepare and share payroll reports, salary statements, and MIS as required.
  • Address employee queries related to salary, deductions, tax, and payslips.
  • Liaise with external payroll vendors, auditors, and statutory bodies as needed.
  • Support in processing final settlements (F&F) and exit-related payouts. Assist in annual activities like Form 16 generation and audit requirements.
