Manager - People - Contract Logistics
• Deploy the HR strategy & transformational people agenda for the business. Design and implement forward-thinking HR solutions and programs to help businesses attract, retain, and develop a diverse workforce.
• Partner with other HR Business Partners to ensure cross-utilization of information and projects.
• Implement the HR agenda within the Business, ensuring that all people managers are equipped and able to deliver the annual recurring people management requirements.
• Work with the leadership team to establish people agenda which underpins and supports the delivery of business goals and drives employee engagement.
• Participate in the development and implementation of human resources processes and programs, including but not limited to assimilation of new employees, performance management, organizational development, employee recognition, learning and development and the annual talent and compensation review process.
• Propose strategic changes and channelize change management within the organization basis regular focus group sessions, one on one and skip level meetings.
• Counsel managers and staff on development opportunities, career mobility and advancement, as well as organizational development, training, compensation, and programs to support corporate initiatives.
• Drive internal & external stakeholder management.
• Ensure timely redressal of employees' grievances and compliances with all applicable laws.
• Carry out routine management of employee issues including disciplinary matters, grievance handling, change management and counselling.
• Any other responsibility/ task; not limited to the above-mentioned tasks, that may be assigned from time to time in view of the job requirements.
INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS
• Promote measures for ensuring harmonious industrial relations with employees and contract employees and other statutory stakeholders.
• Scan the industrial relations climate inside the warehouse, in the locality and report to management stakeholders periodically to call out any risks.
• Liaising with Labour departments and other Government officials.
• Coordinating with company legal advisors regarding statutory matters and court cases.
STATUTORY COMPLIANCES
• Securing various statutory licenses from depts. like Factories / Pollution Control Board consents / Panchayat license, Contract Labour registration / license etc. and their periodical renewal, wherever applicable as per compliance requirements.
• Complying with the requirements of various Laws including periodic maintenance of registers and records, timely submission of statutory returns, display of notices under various statutes,
• Ensure vendor compliance as per governance regarding contributions and submission of all statutory returns with respect to these laws.
• Administrative support to Business
• Contract Labour Management in terms of Health & Safety
• Housekeeping, general administration
• To implement, govern and maintain all Administration related functions.
• Maintenance of all data with regards to contract labour and ensure cost management.
• Provide all data requirements in pertaining to contract labour workforce pertaining to customer audits and requirements
