About the Role

A renowned South Indian movie star is seeking a full-time personal chef to manage daily meal preparation at their private residence in Chennai. The ideal candidate should be passionate about healthy, flavourful, and calorie-conscious cooking, with experience in customised diet planning and fitness-focused meal preparation. This is a live-in position with accommodation and meals provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and prepare daily meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and beverages) as per the celebrity's dietary preferences and nutritional goals.
  • Create balanced, calorie-tracked menus with variety while maintaining taste and presentation.
  • Manage kitchen operations including grocery planning, ingredient sourcing, and hygiene standards.
  • Collaborate with the celebrity's nutritionist or fitness trainer (if applicable) to align meals with fitness goals.
  • Ensure timely meal service and flexibility with schedule adjustments as needed.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety in the kitchen area.
  • Innovate and experiment with healthy recipes using Indian and global cuisines.
  • Handle inventory management and ensure cost-effective use of ingredients.

equirements

  • Proven experience as a Chef or Personal Chef (preferably in premium households, celebrity homes, or 5-star kitchens).
  • Strong knowledge of healthy, low-calorie, and high-protein meal preparation.
  • Expertise in South Indian and Continental cuisines preferred.
  • Understanding of nutrition, portion control, and balanced diets.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all time
  • Excellent time management, attention to detail, and hygiene standards.
  • Must be based in Chennai or willing to relocate immediately.
