Set up in 1906, SVC Bank is a 118-year-rich institution that has contributed significantly to the development of the co-operative movement in India for over a century. Gross NPAs declined to 1.96% while Net NPAs also substantially reduced to 0.25%. The Bank continued to strengthen its Provisioning Coverage Ratio (PCR), which has reached at 87.54%. SVC Co-operative Bank Ltd. has been honoured with multiple prestigious awards in 2024, including the Banco Blue Ribbon 2024 for excellence in the Urban Co-Operative Bank category (banks with deposits above Rs. 15,000 crore) and the 'Best Technology Bank – Special Mention' by Indian Banks' Association (IBA) at the 20th Annual Banking Technology Conference, Expo, and Citations. Also Mr. Durgesh S. Chandavarkar, Chairman of SVC Bank, received the Leadership Award for Visionary Leader in the Corporate Sector at the Connect Future Ready Leaders in India's Viksit Bharat Vision SVC Bank was honoured with the Tech-Savy Legendary Bank Award at the 4th NavaBharat-CSR Summit and Awards. The award was presented by Shri Rahul Narwekar, Speaker of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly, on 4th February 2025, in Mumbai.

SVC Bank was recently awarded at the hands of Shri. Amit Shah - Honourable Union Minister of Home Affairs and Cooperation, GoI, in recognition to SVC Bank's contribution to the paid-up capital of National Urban Co-operative Finance And Development Corporation Limited (NUCFDC) for the solidarity of the UCB Sector and for the principle of Cooperation among cooperatives by NUCFDC. The Bank was also, in the year 2022, awarded for its 100+ years of service at the hands of Shri. Amit Shah - Honourable Union Minister of Home Affairs and Cooperation, GoI. The Bank has also been acknowledged with many prestigious recognitions, such as, the Best Chairperson of the Year – Mr. Durgesh S. Chandavarkar, Best Woman Leader of the Year – Ms. Ashwini Vinekar and Best Cybersecurity Initiative of the Year – SVC Bank, by Bharat Ratna Sahakarita Samman 2024, ET Best BFSI Brands 2023 and ET Best Organisation for Women 2023. The Bank was among the first few Co-operative banks in the country to get the Authorized Dealer Category I License (Independent Forex Operations) from RBI in December 2007. In July 2008, it launched its International Banking Division, which handles more than Rs. 5,000 Crores Forex business today.

About the Role

Are you an experienced, highly motivated, and customer-oriented banking executive looking to take on a new challenge? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you as a Branch Manager with our Bank. We are looking for a Branch Manager to join our team and help drive our business forward.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for development of branch business, credit management and recovery of loans.
• Generating customer leads and enhancing deposits of the branch.
• Responsible for underwriting, processing, disbursement, monitoring, Audit Compliance of Retail and Corporate Loans.
• Achieving business goals through new business sales, referrals and retention of account relationship.
• Responsible for increasing the loan portfolio of the branch.
• Responsible for marketing, building a rapport with the existing customers/ business community/ prospective customers to attract more business, assisting with customer relations, and ensuring that the branch meets its targets in a timely manner.
• Ensuring efficient and prompt service to the Bank's clientele.
• Conducting business development activities to achieve business targets.
• Supervise and entrust Recovery of overdue and follow-up of Non-Performing Assets.

Qualifications

• Graduate in any faculty. CA/CS/ICWA/MBA will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 8 plus years of experience as Assistant Branch Manager / Branch Manager in any Commercial / Co-operative Bank.
• Should have expertise in Branch operation handling Finacle Core Banking Solution.
• Proactive and resourceful in acquiring new business for the Bank and deepening of existing customer relationships of the Bank.
• Should have good understanding and experience of branch banking / branch operations.
• Well-versed with business development activities in a Bank.
• Good communication skills.
