Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and technically adept Inside Sales Engineer to join our sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting our sales process by providing technical expertise, generating quotations, and assisting customers with product selection and applications. You will work closely with external sales teams, engineering, and customers to ensure smooth and efficient communication and order fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a technical resource for customers, answering inquiries related to product specifications, applications, and installations.
  • Generate and follow up on sales leads through calls, emails, and online platforms.
  • Prepare and deliver quotations, proposals, and sales orders to customers in a timely manner.
  • Support the external sales team by providing technical product support and processing orders.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to resolve customer issues and ensure product compatibility with customer needs.
  • Maintain and update customer records in the CRM system.
  • Assist in the development of technical presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations for potential customers.
  • Stay updated on the latest product developments, features, and industry trends to effectively communicate these to customers.
  • Follow up on post-sales activities, including order tracking, customer feedback, and support for after-sales service.
  • Work cross-functionally with other departments, including marketing and engineering, to drive customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechanical, or related field).
  • 0-2+ years of experience in inside sales or technical sales support, preferably in automation, industrial equipment, or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of Building & Industrial Automation, Instrumentation, and Control Systems.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Customer-focused with a positive attitude and strong problem-solving abilities.

Compensation:

  • The salary compensation will be based on the interview. The probation period will be six months and the position will be converted in to permanent based on the candidate performance once the probation period is over.
