Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the entire cooking oil production process, including pretreatment, pressing, solvent extraction, refining, and packaging.
  • Manage and motivate a team of production personnel, providing clear direction, coaching, and performance feedback.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Monitor production processes and identify areas for improvement to optimize efficiency and yield.
  • Conduct regular quality checks and ensure adherence to all quality control standards.
  • Maintain accurate production records and reports.
  • Identify and troubleshoot production issues, implementing solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Coordinate with maintenance personnel to ensure proper equipment upkeep and prevent breakdowns.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and new technologies related to cocking oil production.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering (B.Sc. Chem. Eng.) or a related field.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in cooking oil production or a similar manufacturing environment.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role within a production setting.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.
  • Strong understanding of cooking oil production processes, including pretreatment, pressing, solvent extraction, refining, and packaging.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
