We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Regional Business Development Manager (RBDM) to lead and grow our pharmaceutical business across the region. The RBDM will be responsible for managing multiple Area Business Managers, driving regional sales performance, expanding market presence, and ensuring strong relationships with healthcare professionals and channel partners.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Business Growth
- Lead and manage sales performance across the assigned region.
- Achieve regional primary and secondary sales targets.
- Develop, implement, and monitor regional sales strategies.
- Identify business opportunities, potential markets, and new customer segments.
- Ensure product availability and visibility across channels.
Team Management
- Handle a team of Area Business Development Managers (ABMs) and Medical Representatives (MRs).
- Conduct field visits, joint field work, and performance reviews.
- Coach, mentor, and train team members for better productivity.
- Support recruitment and induction of field staff.
- Conduct monthly & quarterly business meetings.
Relationship Management
- Build strong relationships with leading doctors, hospitals, KOLs, and institutions.
- Manage distributor/stockist networks for smooth operations.
- Organize CMEs, product launches.
Market Intelligence & Compliance
- Track competitor activities and market trends.
- Prepare MIS, sales reports, regional forecasts, and action plans.
- Ensure compliance with company processes, ethical standards, and industry regulations.
Required Candidate Profile
Education
- B.Pharm / B.Sc / Any Graduate (MBA preferred).
Experience
- 9 to 14 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years handling a team as ABM/RBM.
- Experience in [General / Cardio / Diabetic / Ortho/ Respiratory/ Gynic/ Pedia ] Division .
