Job Title: Purchase Intern

Department: Procurement / Purchase

Location: [Gurgaon, Haryana]

Duration: 36 Months (Internship)

Stipend: [Insert range, e.g., 10,000 – 15,000 per month]

Reporting To: Purchase Manager / Procurement Head

About the Role:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Purchase Intern to support our procurement team in sourcing materials, vendor coordination, and maintaining purchase records. This internship offers hands-on experience in supply chain management and purchasing operations within a dynamic business environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the procurement of raw materials, consumables, and services as per company requirements.
  • Collect quotations and compare prices, delivery terms, and quality from different vendors.
  • Support in creating purchase orders (POs) and maintaining documentation.
  • Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Maintain and update the vendor database and track purchase requisitions.
  • Assist in inventory tracking and invoice verification.
  • Prepare daily/weekly purchase reports and assist in MIS documentation.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Pursuing or recently completed BBA / B.Com / MBA (Operations, Supply Chain, or Finance) or equivalent.
  • Basic understanding of procurement processes and supply chain management.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and ERP tools (SAP, Tally, or similar preferred).
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn.
