Job Role:
Purchase Intern

You should apply if you have:

• Demonstrable and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
• A keen eye for detail and a knack for analysing data to draw meaningful conclusions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A proactive attitude and are ready to conduct market surveys and research independently.
• Prior experience or familiarity with any MIS (Management Information System) tool or similar organizational software.

You should not apply if you:

• Are uncomfortable with extensive, daily data handling and analysis in spreadsheets.
• Are unfamiliar with or unwilling to quickly master complex Excel formulas.
• Prefer a role without significant exposure to market research and supplier interaction.
• Cannot commit to working full-time from the office in Gurugram.
• Are not a self-starter and require constant supervision for routine tasks.
• Do not enjoy a hands-on, detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.

Skills Required:

• Advanced Spreadsheet Proficiency (Excel & Google Sheets):
  Expert-level practical knowledge of formulas, including: VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, PIVOT TABLES, Conditional Formatting and Data Validation, Logical functions like IF, AND, OR.
• Data Management & MIS:
  Familiarity with or quick ability to learn MIS tools/Purchase software used for tracking inventory, orders, and supplier performance.
• Communication Skills:
  Strong ability to articulate findings clearly and communicate professionally with internal teams and external vendors.
• Research & Analytical Skills:
  Ability to effectively conduct market surveys, gather competitive intelligence, and derive actionable insights from data.
• MS Tools and G Suite:
  Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint) and G Suite tools (Docs, Slides, Gmail, Drive).

What will you do?

• Assist the Purchase team in managing and tracking inventory, order placements, and delivery schedules using our internal Purchase software (MIS tool).
• Create, maintain, and update daily, weekly, and monthly reports using advanced Excel/Google Sheets functions for data analysis (e.g., stock levels, pricing, consumption patterns).
• Conduct detailed market surveys, competitor analysis, and supplier research to identify cost-saving opportunities and market trends.
• Analyze large datasets to generate actionable insights for optimizing the purchasing strategy and negotiating better terms.

Work Experience:

• (Preferred) Relevant internship experience or coursework focusing on data analysis, supply chain, or procurement.
• Open to recent graduates or students currently pursuing a relevant degree.

Monday - Saturday
