Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, bake, and finish a wide range of bakery products (artisan breads, rolls, croissants, pastries, muffins, etc.).
  • Ensure consistency and quality in all baked goods as per recipes and standards.
  • Supervise and guide Commis and trainees in bakery operations.
  • Monitor daily production schedules and inventory requirements.
  • Assist in developing new recipes and seasonal bakery menus.
  • Maintain proper storage and labeling of all ingredients and finished products.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards (HACCP).
  • Coordinate with the Pastry and Kitchen teams for smooth production flow.
  • Control wastage and optimize ingredient usage.
  • Report equipment maintenance needs and assist in stock control.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma / Degree in Bakery & Confectionery, Culinary Arts, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in bakery or pastry, with at least 1 year as CDP or equivalent position.
  • Strong knowledge of fermentation, dough handling, and baking techniques.
  • Creativity in product presentation and flavor combinations.
  • Knowledge of international and modern bakery trends preferred.
  • Excellent team player with leadership and organizational skills.
  • Flexible to work in shifts, weekends, and under pressure.
