- Menu Planning & Development:
- Plan and design seasonal, healthy, and innovative menus.
- Develop gluten-free and cost-effective dishes.
- Maintain standardized recipes and ensure portion control.
- Kitchen Management:
- Supervise day-to-day kitchen operations.
- Monitor food preparation, cooking, and presentation quality.
- Ensure hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards (FSSAI & HACCP).
- Team Leadership:
- Train, motivate, and lead kitchen staff (chefs, helpers, cleaners).
- Prepare duty rosters and monitor staff performance.
- Maintain a positive and disciplined kitchen culture.
- Cost & Inventory :
- Control Estimate raw material requirements and manage procurement.
- Coordinate with vendors for timely supply.
- Control wastage and optimize food costs.
- Quality & Compliance:
- Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and quality.
- Take feedback from customers and implement improvements.
- Ensure adherence to all food safety standards.
- Collaboration Work closely with Restaurant Manager & Owner for promotions and menu updates.
- Plan new dishes, introduce menu variety, and support overall sales growth.
